The pattern is written in detail but you must be familiar with basic knit stitches and techniques such as:
• cast on/cast off;
• how to make knit and purl stitches, K2together and P2together;
• work ‘back and forth’ on 2 knitting needles.
The pattern has an additional information and 11 video supports:
• How to embroider the cherries motif;
• How to change colors seamlessly in knitting;
• How to knit the seamless sleeve;
• How to avoid the hole under armpit;

Materials and Tools:
• fingering (4 ply) yarn, 250 m / 50 g: main color, plus white and red for the yoke’s cherry detail;
• embroidery floss in green and brown for stitching the cherry stems and leaves, plus an embroidery needle;
• large red seed beads to represent the cherries;
• circular knitting needles 2 mm with 60 cm (or longer) flexible cable length;
• crochet hook 2 mm (for auxiliary function);
• 5 miniature red buttons for the back closure.

What you will learn:
• how to knit the cardigan for doll with round yoke and seamless sleeves;
• how to make a loop for the buttons;
• how to decorate the sweater with the berries motif;
• how to change colors in knitting without leaving gaps or holes.
In this tutorial I show how to knit a cardigan on a toy with the following parameters: waist - 18 cm (7.08 in), neck - 8 cm (3.14 in), chest (armpit) - 18 cm (7.08 in), arm circumference – 6 cm (2.36 in). Using a different yarn and larger/smaller needles, you can make this model fits the toy with different parameters.
