Knit this whimsical penguin to keep you company all winter long. Change the scarf shade and create a colorful colony of penguins!

Materials:

Red Heart ® Anne Geddes Baby ™: 1 ball each: 112 Night-night (A), 100 Lily (B), and 902 Lady Bug (C)

Knitting Needles: 3.25 mm US 3 double-pointed needles for body, 4.0 mm US 6 for scarf

Two ¼” 6 mm black shank buttons for eyes.
Stitch markers, yarn needle.
Fiberfill for stuffing.
Yellow embroidery floss for nose, embroidery needle.
Black sewing thread, sewing needle.
Crochet hook for attaching scarf fringe.

Notes:

  1. Body is worked flat from head down and seamed at center back. Wings are worked separately in the round.
  2. Use photo(s) as guide for assembling pieces.
