This pattern is perfect for those single skeins which have been sitting in your stash for years, waiting for the right project.

The size is fully adaptable and allows you to use as much yarn as you like. It will also work for a wide range of yarn weights.

The simple lace pattern, combined with an airy gauge, makes for a fun, quick knit and a versatile finished shawl that you’ll love to wear.

The amount of yarn needed depends on the yarn weight and the desired size of the shawl. The blue sample shown uses one skein (420 meters / 459 yards) of hand-painted fingering weight sock yarn from an indie dyer.

The shawl starts with a garter tab and then grows into a symmetric top-down triangle.
The instructions are both written and charted, except for the simple border which is written only.
The charts provided in the main PDF file are meant to be printed and glued together. A separate, huge chart is provided for the use on electronic devices.
