Chemchemis are simple wrist warmers without thumb holes. The flower colorwork with two colors in each round is beginner friendly, and it’s also a brilliant project to utilize leftover yarns!

Size - one size
20-24 cm hand circumference
The wrist warmers can have zero or negative ease.
You can easily adjust the size by repeating the color chart less or more than in the instruction.

5 colors of Willa Wanttuut Spring set (5 x 20 g)100 % Finnish wool(yardage: 270 m / 100 g)
OR
total of 95 m (33 g) of similar (sport or DK) weight yarn in 5 different colors:
Color A (brown: cuffs) 14 g
Color B (white: base) 11 g
Color C (pink: flower 1) 3 g
Color D (green: shoots) 3 g
Color E (yellow: flower 2) 2 g
OR
You can also use fingering weight yarn held in double in 5 different colors (e.g. Vuonue Wilhelmi, Tukuwool fingering)

Needles
3,5 mm / US4 circular needles using magic loop method or dpns

Gauge
23 sts x 27 rnds on 3,5 mm / US4 needles in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”

Chemchemit ovat yksinkertaisia putkilonmuotoisia ranteenlämmittimiä ilman peukalon paikkoja. Suloinen kukkakuvioinen kirjoneule sopii myös kirjoneuletta opetteleville neulojille. Nämä ovat myös loistavia jämälankaprojekteja, joihin saa kulutettua pieniäkin langan nöttösiä.
