Pattern Revised 5-25-13. I spoke with someone in the Volunteer Services Dept at MD Anderson Cancer Center & was told that they needed more Men’s Chemo Caps. I’ve revised my Chemo Cap pattern to include two Adult Sizes. The first (Adult Average/Teen) & the other (Adult Large/Men’s). Share this pattern as much as you like & make for the charity of your choice. Thank you.

Used a Boye-Size G/6 4.25mm crochet hook. When listing the hook description only option offered was G 4.0MM…so I just wanted to clarify.

Something very dear to my heart I wanted to share. MD Anderson Cancer Center saved my Brother’s life. If my Father would have been treated there maybe he would have made it or at least been given the opportunity of having a fighting chance. I’m starting a group here locally that will make Chemo Caps for patients at MD Anderson. Made locally with love. I designed this crocheted Chemo Cap so it may be made by a beginner & for it to have all the desirable aspects of a Chemo Cap. Soft, not too dense & most importantly for it to offer maximum coverage. I also had to keep in mind to use easily accessible & inexpensive yarn so others wanting to make this hat could find this yarn easily at their LYS & other places like Wal-mart for example. It is not the prettiest design I’ve come up with but it will do the job. If you have time & stash to bust please utilize this easy pattern to help someone going through a very difficult time. Share & use this pattern as much as you like. The mailing address to MD Anderson is included in the pattern so as to send the hats directly there. Thank you
