Cheongwha baekja is a type of porcelain that has been created since the days of the Joseon dynasty. Its serene white surface becomes a canvas for cobalt-blue brushwork, expressing
philosophy, refined restraint, and artistic nuance through intricate designs. Traditionally, Korean decorative patterns carried more than visual appeal, conveying symbols, aspirations, and heartfelt wishes of their creators.

Drawing inspiration from the elegance of cheonghwa bakja and its dazzling peony designs, I’ve incorporated that spirit into this cowl. The peony motif is both ornate and meaningful, representing harmony, wealth, and prosperity.

Enjoy the beauty of these blossoms as you knit this cowl.
