Designed on the shore of Lake Owen in The Chequamegon National Forest one chilly August day. Knit in bulky weight yarn with a garter stitch band, this hat is very stretchy and can accommodate a large range of head sizes, making it a good choice for charity knitting.

The texture makes it a good choice for hand
painted or handspun yarns

This is a bulky version of my The Ridges Hat, which is knit in worsted weight.
