This “poncho meets cardigan” is a fast and easy knit which will be suitable for many seasons!
This garment is created with a simple but lovely textured lace section and followed by an easy to memorize modified rib. Finish up with a fun and beautiful macrame fringe!

The lace pattern is presented in both charted and written formats. Please note that some single crochet is required to finish the garment. Instructions for the macrame fringe are included in the pattern.

Kits are available at the Apple Tree Knits website!

Materials
Apple Tree Knits Plush DK; 100% Superwash Merino, 280 yds (256 m)/4 oz (113 g):
Touch of Gray 5(5, 6 skeins)

US #7 (4.5mm), length 24-32 inches (to accommodate stitch count).

US H (5.00 mm) crochet hook

Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, piece of cardboard cut to the length you would like the fringe (for sample, cardboard was cut to 12 in (30 cm).

Gauge
23 stitches/18 rows = 4 in/10cm in stockinette st, blocked.
Gauge is not entirely important as this is a large and loose garment. Stitch gauge is more crucial than row gauge.

Finished Size
Size 1: xs/sm (2: sm/m, 3: m/lg)
This garment has a lot of positive ease and is meant to fit loosely. It can fit a variety of sizes and is easily adjustable. Please see schematic for measurements.
