Cherie, Stella, or Brooke are a funky looking chicken, hen, or some similar kind of bird. The pattern offers three options. Polka dot pattern in two colors, stripes in two colors, or polka dot in knit and purl in one color. The choice is yours.

Finished toy size: 12.5” (32 cm) tall from bottom to top of the head. 10” (25 cm) long.

Yarn: use any worsted weight yarn, or double held fingering, or bulky, whatever yarn you have on hand is good.
You will need about 170 - 200 yards (156 - 183 meters) total in two colors.
Also 5 yards of red yarn and 10-15 yards of yellow or orange yarn.

Notions: Yarn needle, scissors, stitch marker, polyester fiberfill (1 small bag, two buttons or two safety eyes, or black embroidery yarn.

Skills: Knitting in the round, Kitchener stitch, optional stranded colorwork in the round.
