PATTERN
The cardigan is worked top down in the flat on a circular needle, with raglan increases on the yoke. The yoke is divided for body and sleeves and the body continued back and forth. CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
The sizes S (M) L (XL) XXL are designed to fit an approximate bust circumference of 90-95(95-100)105-110(110-115) 115-120 cm, 35.4-37.4 (37.4-39.3) 41.3-43.3 (43.3-45.2) 45.2 -47.2 inches. The cardigan is designed to have approx. 5 cm (2 inch) of positive ease.
Gauge: 22 sts x 28 rows in stockinet stitch on 4 mm US8 needles = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches
Needles: Circular needles: 4 mm US6 and 3 mm US2.5
Materials: 8 stitch markers for the raglan, Bobby Pins or stitch markers for the Bobby Pin technique, and 5-8 buttons 1.5 cm/ 0.5 inch.
Yarn: Weight:3 – DK.
Suggested yarn Berroco Vintage DK (shown here Rose Quarts colour) (52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon. 3.5 oz / 100 g = 290 yds / 265 m). Estimated yardage depending on the length; 400 (450) 500 (560) 600 g, 1000 (1100) 1300 (1500) 1600 meter.
Or the peach version was made with cotton merino held together with one strain of mohair. (Easy Care Cotton Merino with SETASURI Dégradé)
250 (300) 300 (350) 400 g Cotton Merino by MAYFLOWER (50 g = 186 yds /170 m) held together with approximately 125 (150) 150 (170) 200 g SETASURI Dégradé alpaca and silk mohair (50 g = 464 yds / 424 m).
