Sweet stitched cherries are a perfect touch to top off these cozy basket weave cuffed mitts

This pattern is for a pair of fingerless mitts, worked in the round with cross stitch details added.

Skill Level:
Intermediate
Stitches include working around the posts and experience with working cross stitch into crochet would be helpful, but help is included.

Yarn:
MC - Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK:
2 x Duck Egg Blue (41)
Or approximately 190 yards of another DK yarn

CC - Scraps of 4ply/sport weight yarn in the following colours:
Cherry Red, Candy Pink, Pale Pink, Apple Green, Emerald Green

Hook:
4mm (G USA)

Materials:
Stitch markers
Yarn needle, and sewing needles and thread
Small piece of felt
Seed beads or similar to decorate

Size:
19cm (7.5”) circumference
(I’d recommend changing hook size if you want to alter the size)

Gauge:
9 stitches by 6 rows per 5cm (2”) in basket weave
