Cherry Blossom Granny Square
Colours are fun, and mixing them is even better!
I created this granny square with this playfulness in mind - using 7 colours for 5 rows gives you infinite possibilities to mix & match your favourite hues.
It’s an easy, lacey granny square that can be a decoration, or used as a base for bigger crochet projects - like blankets, bags, or cardigans.
It’s beginner friendly, you only need to know the following stitches make this granny square:
Slip stitch, chain stitch, half-double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and clusters. |
The pattern comes with a stitch chart, photo tutorial of the rounds, and a written pattern.
It works up quick, making it an ideal travel project, and the rounds are easy to remember, so you can turn on production mode while watching telly.
I want to encourage people to create more and more of their everyday items, so by choosing to work from this pattern, you join my silent movement of fighting mass-produced textiles one stitch at a time! : )
