This pattern produces a square that can be used for a blanket, or a number of other projects. This pattern could easily be incorporated into a larger pattern, such as a sweater. This project is completed using intarsia knitting and includes a chart for both Bing and Rainier cherries. If you find knitting the small number of stiches for the stems and the red stippling on the Rainiers to be too tedious these details can easily be added after the project is complete using a duplicate stitch.

Once completed and blocked this produces a square that is roughly 7.5 inches tall by 8 inches wide.
