Cherry Turnover is an easy reversible and squishy triangular shawl. It is worked sideways in garter stitch. The saw-tooth edge adorning one side continues as a knitted binding off. Traditional Orenburg lace motifs “diagonals” are placed all over the body. They are worked only on the right side, the wrong side is simply knitted. No Purls.

Exact gauge is not important for this project. The pattern can be worked from written instructions or charts. Size is easy to adjust. You can add as many colors as you want.

Skills: knit, knit front and back, yarnover, knit two together, bind off.
