This pattern was designed for the first of two great nieces born this year. This is Cheryl’s Arrival, Whirlwind in Motion. For my nephew and niece that went thru ten years of trying to have a baby, and once it happened it was a whirlwind. She was born in March of 2018. It is a square, with layered petal shaped fan blades in corners. It took me approx. 350 yards for the first one. I made many for my family members, her parents, and grandparents. I used a 1.75 mm hook. Seems to be my go to.
