Chesil Beach is a lightweight, crescent shaped scarf or shawl knitted side to side including the lace & cabled edges.

The ‘Shoreline’ lace feature waves, reminiscent of the sea rolling onto the beach and the beads represent coloured shells left behind by the tide. The ‘Seapods’ cables remind me of seaweed!

The scarf is made with DK weight yarn and the shawl, either 4-ply (fingering weight) or 3-ply (light fingering weight) yarn.

Both the scarf and shawl can be draped around the shoulders or wound around the neck, add a pretty pin to dress it up or a lovely corsage.
