Two-color brioche is unique and the result is like two different hats - You can wear both sides. Two-color brioche creates a gorgeous reversible fabric.

This beanie is an average adult size version (if you want a shorter or smaller size – do fewer sections and use smaller needles).

The Chess hat is both written and charted, for your convenience.
And tested.

Yellow yarn: Rowan Tweed 129 yards(118 meters)/ 50 grams (1.76 ounces). DK weight
Grey yarn: Drops Karisma (100% wool), 109yards (100 meters)/ 50 grams (1.76 ounces) (don’t use only tweed, cotton or alpaca – these are not flexible enough).

A little bit more than 50g one color and 50g for the other (with pompom). My beanie weighs about 115gr/4oz.
Without pom pom – 95gr total

16” (40cm) circular needle or DPN’ s (double pointed needles)in US2,5/ 3mm and US4/3,5mm
