This fun coaster is knit in a medium weight cotton yarn. The body is knit with linen stitch and the border with seed stitch. After knitting the lower border in seed stitch, the stitches are increased by 4 to make up for the difference in gauge between linen and seed stitches. The side borders are knit along with the main colour rows of the linen stitch body.
