My parents often switched between calling our living room furniture a couch, sofa, or Chesterfield. These sock-like slippers remind me of
the plaid Chesterfield in the living room from when I was a child, and are just as cozy as a day spent reading there!

The Chesterfield Slippers are worked cuff down in the round, and separated to work a heel flap, and then stitches on the side of the flap are picked up to form a gusset. The toe is shaped with a rather wide border of Reverse Stocking stitch until only the border remains, at which point the remaining stitches are grafted in pattern.

Foot circumference of finished sock, blocked: 17 (19.5, 21, 23.5, 25)cm 6.75 (7.75, 8.25, 9.25, 9.75)“. Cuff/Leg Length: 5 (6.5, 7.5, 9, 9.5)cm 2 (2.5, 3, 3.5, 3.75)“. Intended to be worn as slippers with a slightly
more relaxed fit than is standard on socks. Shown in size M.

Uses 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skein(s) of the recommended yarn.
