The Chestnut Street socks are inspired by my husband and my first year of marriage, and the first apartment we shared together (yes, on Chestnut Street!). This pattern uses one strand of sock yarn and 1 strand of lace mohair, held double, for a squishy halo of warmth.

The pattern repeat on the outer edges of the socks is simple yet engaging, perfect for mindless knitting.

Written for Magic Loop, but can be easily adjusted to DPNs or 9 inch circulars!
