The scarf is knit in the round which eliminates the need to weave in the ends. Grafting it into a toroid completely hides the wrong side. If you don’t like grafting (Kitchener stitch), you can leave the scarf ends open and finish it by adding tassels or buttons or small pompoms to the peaks, or whatever else you like.

Required skills: knit and/or purl in the round (circular or dpns), (k1, yo, k1) or (p1, yo, p1) in the same stitch, and knit 3 together as a central chain decrease.

Optional skills: provisional cast on and grafting (Kitchener stitch).

The scarf shown here was made from a little less than 2 skeins of Aloft, colorways Koi and White.
