Chevrolette
This cute miniskirt is a great show-off piece. The construction is simple with just enough interest to keep you going. It’s knit from the top down, in the round with a simple two row pattern repeat and fun striping in contrast colors of yarn. I used Zara and Zara Handpaint yarns for their springy durability.
Yarn: Superwash DK wool in three colors, approximately
270 (330, 400) yards color A
220 (280, 350) yards color B
60 (60, 60) yards color C
Needles: US Size 5 and 6 needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Gauge: 24 st and 36 rows = 4” on Size 5 and
22 st and 30 rows = 4” on Size 6
or
1 pattern repeat is 3” on size 5 and 3¼” on size 6
Sizing: Small 30” around waist, 15” to hem
Medium 33½” around waist, 17” to hem
Large 37” around waist, 19” to hem
The skirt is designed with negative ease, hugging the body. It’s something to throw on over leggings on the way to the yoga studio or with a cute top to go out.
