This is what you’ll need:

DK weight yarn. I used Stylecraft Special DK, colors Cream and Soft Peach
Crochet hook 6mm

Stitch abbreviations:

ch = chain
st = stitch
hdc = half double crochet
hdc2tog = half double crochet 2 stitches together

Now that I am pregnant with a baby girl, I love making baby stuff! The baby is due in the summer, so I wanted to make a light and airy blanket for the first few weeks. I choose a light weight yarn, but you can make this blanket with any kind you like. Just be sure to make a swatch to figure out the size.
