Once I made these, I am wondering how I ever lived without them! These bowl cozies are perfect for using in the microwave or when you are eating hot foods in a bowl, it protects your fingers from betting burned. Also nice when eating cold things like ice cream, so your fingers don’t freeze!

Size: Fits a standard size soup/cereal bowl that measures about 6.25-6.5” in diameter across top rim and about 2” high. Base of cozy is 4.75” in diameter before sides are added; sizes flare out as they are made. Instructions also given to adjust the size for different size bowls.

Gauge: With K hook and 2 strands held together; 2 rows = about 1 inch high; 3 hdc sts = about 1.125 inches wide.

Stitches and Techniques used:
• ch = chain
• slst = slip stitch
• sc = single crochet
• dc = double crochet
• hdc = half double crochet
• inv hdc3tog = invisible half double crochet 3 stitches together (Instructions given)
• inv sc2tog = invisible single crochet 2 stitches together (instructions given)
• blo = crochet through the “back loop only”
• magic ring = technique for starting rounds (you can also chain and join to make a ring)
• Seamless finish (instructions given)
