Snuggle up with this squishy neck warmer. The simple knit-and-purl chevron pattern lets the beauty of the gradient yarn shine. Alternating two skeins of the same yarn maintains the gradient while extending the length of the cowl.

FINISHED SIZE
About 30½“ (77.5 cm) circumference and 13” (33 cm) high.

Sportweight (#2 Fine).
Shown here: Freia Fibers Ombré Sport Gradient (100% wool; 217 yd 198 m/2½ oz 75 g): Mist, 2 balls.

NEEDLES
Size U.S. 6 (4 mm): 24” or 32” (60 or 80 cm) circular (cir).
Adjust needle size if necessary to achieve the correct gauge.

NOTIONS

• The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. The pattern uses two skeins. In order to maintain the color block, alternate skeins every round, making sure to start at the same color in each skein.
