This is the 2nd of 3 hats knit specifically for pre-school age children. The purl stitches set against stockinette form the thin chevron stitch pattern. The design is suitable for either gender; make your color choice accordingly.

This hat, with an easy to knit 4-round repeat, can be completed in just an evening while watching TV.

NOTE: The striping in the sample hat was created by the long color repeats in the Sweet Roll yarn. No splicing or joining required.
