This pattern includes a PRIVATE VIDEO TUTORIAL which explains everything!

Enjoy making this bold and vibrant bralette. The cups and band are adjustable to fit every body shape and size, and can be made to suit your body perfectly. The cups are a great shape which suit small and large chests alike. They curve more as they get larger, meaning they support L/XL sizes well. I am a 36DDD/38DD and find them great!

The bold chevron band is achieved using a straightforward repeat, and the cups work up quickly and easily. There is a video tutorial to visually guide, along with clear written instructions. This makes the pattern suitable for beginners – if you can do single and double crochet, YOU CAN DO THIS!

This makes a great bralette, crop top or bikini, perfect for summer, the beach or a festival.

Sizes
XS, S, M, L, XL

You will need
• Yarn – weight 4 or a light 5. I used Loops and threads Eco-Brights which is listed as bulky/weight 5 but works up like a medium/weight 4 yarn. I chose 2 contrasting colours – green and magenta. Approx. 100m of each, 200m total.
• 5.5mm hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Optional – tape measure

US terminology, standard gauge 12 st x 12 rows = 10cm x 10cm

Stitches (the video tutorial explains all of these so don’t be overwhelmed!)
Sc = single crochet
Sc decr = single crochet decrease (also known as sc2tog)
Sc3tog = single crochet 3 together (decreasing)
Hdc = half double crochet
Dc = double crochet
Dc decr = double crochet decrease (also known as dc2tog)
Dc3tog = double crochet 3 together (decreasing)

Washing and care
The eco-brights yarn I used for this pattern is 100% recycled polyester (woo!), it is cold hand wash only and dry flat. Depending which yarn you choose, you may be able to wash your bralette in the washer on a delicate cycle and hang dry. Some acrylic yarns can go in the regular wash and dry cycle. It is sensible to put in a delicates/underwear garment bag to stop any threads getting caught in the machine.
