These fingerless mitts consist of a beautiful textured stitch around the cuff and down the backside. This chevron design is very common with knitted items and now in crochet! Fingering weight or sock weight yarn works best for this pattern and the crocheted fabric is lightweight, but with lots of visible texture. Sport weight works fine too (remember to follow the instructions for a smaller size) and the fabric works up to a medium weight thickness. Either way, you will get lots of compliments on your mitts!
