TUNISIAN CROCHET PATTERN

This fun chevron temperature blanket is worked in long panels and is primarily done using Tunisian Simple Stitch. The chevron pattern is achieved by adding increases and decreases. Stripes that represent daily high temperatures alternate with a contrasting color, providing some additional visual interest to the chevron design and adds some fun along the way.

Temperature colors are determined by the daily high temperatures and are worked using several different colorways of Stylecraft Special DK yarn. 2 contrasting colors are used: Lionbrand Wool-Ease Cakes yarn in Athena colorway and Lionbrand Wool-Ease DK Cake in Lakeside colorway.

Each panel is worked separately and then stitched together to form the blanket and then a simple single crochet border is added to finish it off.

This pattern would also make a great stash-busting project as well!
