A colorful and fun shawl, knit on the bias using increases and decreases to produce the asymmetrical vortex shape. It’s made using garter stitch with lace inserts, and the pattern includes both charts and written instructions for the lace sections.

You need approximately 120g of the main color and 70g of the contrasting color for the lace. The name of this pattern comes from the fact that the colors in the Misti Alpaca yarn reminded me of the Chianti region of Tuscany - the greens of the olives and the rosemary, the purples of the lavender and the irises, and, of course, the burgundy of the wine!

Dimensions: 76 x 20 inches.
