This is a pattern for a cute and easy pokémon-- Espeon.

She’s part of my expanding collection of chibi pokemon designs.

Using the recommended yarn and hook she will be about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall at the head, and closer to 4.5 inches at the ear-tips. She’s consistent in size with my other pokémon amigurumi and other chibi eeveelutions.

You’ll need a relatively small amount (not more than 40g) of light purple yarn, scraps of black yarn or embroidery thread, a 4mm crochet hook, some stuffing, plastic eyes (10mm is good), dark blue felt, something red for the forehead gem and a yarn needle.

Espeon is pretty easy and pretty satisfying to craft, in my opinion. One cool feature is that she’s all one color of yarn. You may also have noticed that my light purple yarn isn’t quite the right one for her. I agree-- it was the closest I had available, but not quite right. Other things to note are the fact that the red gem could be almost anything (felt, yarn, plastic, stone, etc.) and that if you want to, you can insert a pipe cleaner in the tail so that it’s posable.

I hope you enjoy!
