This is a pattern for a cute and quirky pokémon-- Farfetch’d.

He’s part of my expanding collection of chibi pokemon designs.

Using the recommended yarn and hook he will be about 3 1/2 to 4 inches tall, and consistent in size with my other pokemon amigurumi.

You’ll need relatively small amounts (not more than 30g) of Brown, Ivory, and Yellow yarns for the bird, and very small amounts of White, Light Green, and Green yarns for the leek, a scrap of dark brown felt, hot glue, a 4mm crochet hook, some stuffing, and a yarn needle.

Farfetch’d is a fun little guy and I love that how grumpy he looks. The body parts are quite straightforward, the leek is a little fiddly but pretty easy as long as you can split it into two parts, and the wings are pretty tedious because I had to use slip stitches for much of it instead of single crochet so that the feathers weren’t too big. All in all, I’m quite pleased with his overall look!
