Chibi Mayu
Pay What Works: Inspired by the models of other designers that I trust and respect, I’m now offering a “Pay What Works” model. I like this model because it accurately reflects the pride that I take in all of my designs and the effort that I put into them, while staying true to my heart: that knitting should be accessible to everyone, no matter what their current life situation.
I’m offering coupon codes to let you “choose your price” for this pattern. Each of these codes will adjust the cost of the pattern to the final cost listed below (the cost listed is what you pay, not the discount amount). Please choose a price that you feel represents my work, but that also allows you to take joy in knitting this pattern without stress or financial burden.
NORICHAN1 - $7.50
NORICHAN2 - $9.00
NORICHAN3 - $12.00
NO CODE - $15.00
Please note for those located in Europe that VAT is applied at checkout.
Other ways to support my work is through leaving a tip via Ko-Fi, or becoming a supporter via Patreon.
Chibi Mayu is a super fun raglan for kiddos aged 0mo-10years old! The cable in the front gives it just enough interest to keep it from being too boring, but the DK yarn and smooth stockinette back and sleeves also keep this knit moving quick!
If you enjoy matching, Chibi Mayu is a miniature version of my Mayu pattern which is sized from 36 (39.75, 43.25, 47)(50.5, 52.5, 55.5, 60)“/(91.5 (101, 110, 119.5)(128.5, 133.5, 141, 152.5) cm) with recommended ease of +/-4”.
In contrast, Chibi Mayu is recommended to choose the size that best aligns with your child’s age or appropriate chest circumference. Kiddos grow quickly and have a large range in size, so please keep this in mind, as well when choosing a size! It may be advised to measure a shirt that fits your baby well right now to choose the correct circumference.
This design was created to help celebrate Periwinkle Sheep’s 20th anniversary and the fact that Very Peri was the Pantone color of 2022 to coincide with this anniversary! I was honored to be included in the bunch, but we decided to push back the release into 2023 because that’s what fit best for both of us. <3
