“Chic” Cardigan is worked top down back and forth, seamlessly in one piece. It starts with the neckline. Stitches for the Fronts and Back are formed by increases along the Shoulder Lines. After the shoulder lines are finished, Fronts and Back are divided and worked down to the underarms. At underarms, Fronts and Back are joined together and worked in rows down to the hem. Then stitches for the Button Band are picked up and knitted along Fronts and Back Neck back and forth. Stitches for the Sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round from the underarms down to the cuffs. Button Bands, Hem and Cuffs Ribbing are worked with a different yarn.
