Oversized beanie in a two-color stranded chevron pattern and contrast edging.
The pattern instructions suggests either light sport weight yarn or fingering yarn, and either alpaca or merino yarn.
The pattern is easy to follow, with lots of repetitions, and will be great project even for beginners. If you are new to using the stranded method, you might want to choose a merino yarn. I find Alpaca´s to be a smoother yarn, and it can be a bit trickier to keep gauge for beginners.
Size: one size, that will fit a teen / adult head. The pattern can easily be adjusted, by either adding or removing one chart of 16 st(s).
