Knit yourself a henhouse full!

Instructions for both the Chicken and Rooster are included in this well-illustrated and written PDF. I consider this an Intermediate pattern! It is worked in the round on double pointed needles, i-cord, bar increases and grafting are also used. You’ll need about 100 yards of worsted weight yarn in the main color and a little bit more in two additional colors per bird. When knit to gauge, poultry produced measures around 11.5 inches from comb to toenail and 6ish inches through the body (top of head to bottom).

Need a bigger chicken? Try a bulky yarn.
