Chicken Potholder/Hotpad
This is a typical size potholder or hotpad used to protect your hand and table from the heat of a hot pan. I used 1 2oz. thing of Sugar N Cream crochet cotton for the body and you will need colors for the tail feathers, beak, comb and waddle plus the eye (really if you have a stash of yarn at home the additional colors could be small remaining pieces of yarn from previous projects).
If you have any questions on how to do specific types of stitches I suggest watching DIY videos for beginning crocheters on YouTube, they are very helpful!
