A basic pattern for a costume I made for my daughter’s chihuahua and descriptions on how I turned it into Santa, bumblebee and dragon.

The size fits a dog around 2 kg. If I make a bigger version I will include it in the pattern.

Does NOT fit a cat, my poor cats just had to act models and they were not happy :-)

I use a yarn that is 130 meters per 50 gr, I think it is a little bit lighter than worsted weight. 50 gr yarn has been enough for a costume, I think I crochet on the harder side. If doing different colours you need more yarn.

Besides yarn and hook you also need a needle to sew together if you do’nt want to slipstitch togethere.
