There are 2 Patterns, one is for the hat and the other is for the jumper either 1 or both can be knitted. There are so many needle sizes as the hat is knitted in different needles to the jumper. The smallest size jumper is 2 balls of the main colour and and the hat has an additional ball. Part balls of yarn are used for the sheep. Any DK yarn with the same tension can be substituted for the brand used. The jumper is knitted on straight needles and the hat is knitted in the round.
