The Marshmallow Balaclava is a simple and soft winter warmer. The pattern is designed to head-hugging. The Marshmallow Balaclava can be knitted easily in one evening, making it an excellent project even for beginner knitters.

Sizes by age group: 1–2 (3–5) 6–8 (9–12) years

Finished hat measurements:
Head circumference: 48–50 (50–52) 52–54 (54–56) cm
Neck height: 5(6)7(8) cm
Hood height from the top of the rib: 14(16)20(23) cm
Hood width from back to temple: 18(19)20(20) cm

Note: About 2 cm of the hood width folds inward to create a rounded edge.

Yarn: Two skeins of Novita Hygge Wool (100% wool, 100 g = 60 m)

Needles: 8 mm double-pointed needles and 10 mm circular needles (length does not matter)

Gauge: 9 sts / 14 rows = 10 cm

Other materials: 2 stitch markers, yarn needle for finishing

The hat is knitted from the neck upwards.
