I called these ‘fairy slippers’ because I decorated them with a fairy stone and beads.
Fairy stones can be found on beaches and are stones that have a natural hole all the way through them. Only good luck can pass through the hole - bad luck is too big and gets stuck in the middle preventing it reaching their victim. These stones will protect their owner.

Sizes: approx age: small, age 3, 5¾ inches long - medium, age 4, 6¼ inches long - large, aged 5, 6¾ inches long
Required: oddments of double knitting yarn - the slippers are knitted using two strands.
Needles: Metric: 4mm
Tension: 4 stitches = 1 inch
