This is one of a series of patterns designed for children to follow. There are illustrated instructions of basic techniques and clear instructions.
I have used a Noro yarn to add the interest of the changing colours and to make what might be a child ‘s first experience of knitting a pleasant one.
Following a pattern gives a child a finished article to aim for and also aids in literacy and numeracy.
The hat itself is 2 rectangles with a bit of shaping at the top.
Tassles or pom-poms at each corner add a bit of fun
