Like many knitting patterns from this early time period, the details are very sketchy. Leather soles for the slippers are expected to have been purchased “at any store.”

This pattern is certainly not for the faint-of-heart, but basically requires making 2.5 yards of i-cord for each slipper, and then sewing it to itself to create the slipper shape. I think it could be a bit tedious, but would probably wear for a long time.
