The Chilly Morning house socks were inspired by the popular Wurm hat designed by Katharina Nopp. The adaption was made for a medium women’s sock in both sport weight or a lighter fingering weight version. The pattern shows in a solid, patterned or striped yarn. It is suitable for an enthusiastic beginner sock knitter.

Sizing can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing 6 stitches at a time. The length of the leg can be adjusted by adding more pattern repeats.

Materials:
Sport weight sock yarn will work best to achieve the look shown. If this is too heavy of a sock, follow the instructions for Fingering weight. You’ll need one 100g skein for a total of 220 yards of Sport weight, or 350 yards of Fingering weight.

Set of 5, US size 2/2.75mm double pointed needles or one long circular needle for Magic Loop.
