Here’s a free quick and easy overlay mosaic crochet pattern for a cute chipmunk! In US terminology and ENGLISH ONLY.

With this download you get a fully written pattern and chart with Xs.

Chipmunk Spirit is a 48 +1 pattern repeat. 48 stitches + 1 for the last stitch, +1 for the turning chain for your first single crochet and +2 for your anchor stitches.
All your starting chains are as follows.
1 repeat, 52 chains. 2 repeats, 100 chains. 3 repeats, 148 chains. 4 repeats, 196 chains.

My tester Barbara Glueck used a 5mm hook and one repeat measures 32 x 20cm (without fringe) with Aran/worsted yarn.

Barbara used Scheepjes River Washed XL (LL 75 m / 50 g), 70 % Cotton / 30 % Acrylic. Background: Colour 994 Congo -
45g. Detailed: Colour 993 Severn - 38g. Total 83g.
