Please note this pattern was previously titled “Holiday 2017 KTOG” and has been renamed now that the Knit Together has completed. It will show up in your Ravelry Library as “Holiday 2017 KTOG” because that is still the database name for the pattern. You will see, however, on the cover sheet for the pattern that it is indeed “Chocolate Anyone?” Boy, do I need some chocolate now.

This pattern was previously the J. L. Fleckenstein Holiday 2017 KTOG shawl sponsored by Lucky Violet Color Co. and hosted in the Fleckenstein and Friends Ravelry Group.

That pattern has been updated as of February 16, 2018 with new information about making gradual color changes, an alternate cast on method, and and photos of the finished item.

This is a simple, elegant and easy to knit asymmetric shawl designed to be knit all in one color, or in a variety of colors gradiently faded into one another. You can use any amount of yarn — just knit until you are finished knitting, work the final row of twisted stitches, and then cast off.

The design features twisted stitches along each edge to give a nice, crisp edge with subtle detail. One edge also features eyelets for added visual interest.
