This shawl was designed around the Freia Shawl cakes that I found. It was a lovely Espresso colorway, that reminded me of a chocolate cupcake with an espresso frosting , with all the layers of brown.

I made this design to be infinitely repeatable. Once you reach the end of the main repeat chart/written instructions, you just knit them over and over again, until it is the size that you want. A couple repeats will give you a lovely shawlette to keep your neck warm on cold days. Keep going and you can have a lovely wrap to keep your whole upper body warm. I used 2 skeins of the Freia Sport Shawl cake to get the look you see in these pictures. The maximum amount of yarn required will be completely dependent on how large you chose to make this shawl.

I think I would list this pattern as perhaps more towards advanced, but that is mostly because the pattern is worked on both the right side and wrong side rows. There are no wrong side rows where you only purl, so this does require constant attention.

This shawl has been tech edited and tested.
