The UK Hand Knitting Association have a new project and
are inviting knitters to become involved.
I’m very flattered to have been asked to design and write
a couple of patterns for this exciting and fun project.
’Chocolate Truffles’ and ‘Sweets in Wrappers’.
Both patterns are suitable for beginners and those
who have never picked up the knitting needles before.
Very simple: Cast on, knit and cast off.
A perfect first knitting pattern and project, each sweet takes just the tiniest bit of yarn and a very small quantity of polyester toy filling.
The knitted ‘Sweetie Shop’ exhibit will be launched at ‘The Knitting and Stitching Show’ Alexandra Palace. London on the 11th to the 14th October 2012. More information about this exciting project is available on the UK Hand Knitting Association website.
