This pattern creates a chonky bird. The base is a squishy tear drop style pattern with other features added on. I created this pattern when making a Cardinal but it can be used to create other birds with just a color switch in yarn. The size which I have written sits about palm size and took about 1/4th of my 354(yd) skein for the body and all additional parts.
