Christa is a gentle crescent shaped wrap, worked from the top down. This design feature allows you to create the perfect size for your needs. If you like to be enveloped in luxury simply add repeats before working the elegant border design. Christa fulfills a variety of accessory needs. Wear Christa as a shawl to keep the evening chill away, wear is draped as a scarf or a cowl. Wrapping Christa around your hips, you’ll have a versatile look taking you from poolside to dinner with style.

The simple stitches, chain, double and triple crochet make this project suitable for a beginner, yet the combination ads interest. The texture only looks complicated. The combination of sitiches and strategic spacing help this project to fly off you hook! While the examples shown are worked in Wolltraum 4 ply gradient yarn, this pattern also looks stunning in any DK or fingering weight yarn. If you have a luxury yarn in mind the texture will really let your yarn steal the spotlight. The border also lends itself to beadwork for a bit of glitz and glamour.

All you need to work your unique version of Christa is a minimum of 760m, 200 g of 4 ply Wolltraum, My Melody yarn, or an equivalent yarn of your choice a 5.5 mm hook and a stitch marker.

Blocking your finished piece is very highly recommended to accentuate the best features this design has to offer.
